With PayConnect, you can process credit card payments right from within Practice-Web! No need to use a separate online portal or account. First open a free account with PayConnect and then add it to Practice-Web. When a patient wants to pay by credit card, simply go to the payment screen within the Account module and click on the PayConnect icon to initiate the processor and select Sale as the transaction type. For new cards, enter the card information and check “Save Token” to securely store the card on file then charge it. Your office can process both “card present” and “card not present” transactions!
Recurring Credit Card Payments
PayConnect and Practice-Web also allow you to process credit cards for patients who have recurring charges (e.g., payment plans, repeating charges). Practice-Web’s Recurring Charges grid lists patients with a balance and a payment scheduled in the last 30 days but not yet processed. Also, if processing an individual payment in the Payment screen, click on the “Apply to Recurring Charge” option to apply the payment to the patient’s next recurring charge.
